Fiona McLoughlin received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from St. John's University in Queens, New York, after completing her degree in three years while working as a freelance journalist. Fiona began working with The U.S. Sun as a Consumer Reporter, bringing exclusive content concerning consumer issues before she moved up as a News Reporter, bringing extensive coverage of crime, politics entertainment and breaking news. 

She has covered major cases including the Gilgo Beach Serial Killer, the missing or dead US scientists, the murder charges against rapper D4vd and more.

With the Daily Caller, she has over 500 articles published as a general assignment contributor, covering breaking news, politics, crime, sports and entertainment. At the Tampa Free Press, she has over a dozen articles published, including exclusive pieces and political analysis. She has also national politics and crime around the country and in the state of Florida. At EntertainmentNow, Fiona has over a dozen articles published covering reality TV and breaking celebrity news.

Fiona is proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop Lightroom), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and WordPress. Her skills extend to extensive knowledge of AP Stylebook, WordPress, copyediting, interviewing, researching and writing. 

Beyond digital news reporting, Fiona has experience in broadcast journalism, podcasts, documentaries, photography and photojournalism. Fiona has produced several broadcast news packages, serving as an on-air talent, and has had her photography work published in magazines and displayed in an art museum. She received an award from Stony Brook University for her documentary, "The Wedding," in 2022.
